"And the Winner is...Pedal through all of Nevada!"

At this exact mile marker, Steve and I had a decision to make on our route leading us to Arizona. We could pedal through California to our west, including more mountain ranges, Death Valley summer deadly temperatures...or bicycle due south through Nevada. We chose Nevada. What we discovered was that between the vacation cities of Reno and Las Vegas, were mind-numbing miles of desert, atomic testing sites, tarantulas, immense litter on the highways and people who did not want to be found! It was a tremendous challenge for us.
