We Finally Bicycled to an Ocean

It was a major disappointment to miss seeing the Pacific Ocean out west. And so it was a spectactular sight and joyous achievement to bicycle to the Atlantic Ocean just south of Maine. I have always loved that I made Steve take a photo of me and Acabar literally in the ocean that day. The rest of that particular afternoon was tough, however, bicycling in cold temps with wet socks, shoes and pants. Oh, the things we do for posterity!
